Food plaza soon at Jaipur junction
Jaipur, Jan 11: Jaipur railway station would soon have a food plaza to cater to the passengers and tourists.
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has awarded the food plaza contract to a firm of Itarsi in Madhya Pradesh.
S B Gandhi, chief spokesman, North-West Railway zone said the plaza is likely to begin within the next two months.
The spacious and three-star ambience plaza would offer food from all regions of the country including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and would be open 24 hours a day.
Mr Gandhi said the food plaza would come up on Platform no 1 near the RMS office. The firm has been given the contract on a nine-year lease and would give Rs 25 lakh per year to the Railways, he added.
