Delhi cabinet discusses Master Plan 2021

New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) Delhi cabinet today held a meeting to discuss draft proposals of the 2021 Master Plan for the national capital.

The more than three-hour-long meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, remained inconclusive and would be continued tomorrow, official sources said.

Earlier this week, the members of the Delhi Assembly cutting across party lines had criticised the draft proposals saying they were far removed from the people's aspirations.

Suggestions made by the cabinet would be forwarded to the union Urban Development Ministry for incorporation in the Master Plan before it was formally notified.
