Challan against former MP minister

Bhopal, Jan 11 (UNI) The Lokayukta police filed a challan against former state minister and BJP MLA Omprakash Dhurve in the special court here yesterday in a case registered against him on corruption charge.

The case was registered against him on a complaint by a contractor three months ago, Lokayukta sources said.

Mr Dhurve, then chairman of the Civil Supplies Corporation, was accused of causing Rs 5 lakh loss to the undertaking due to irregularities in awarding contract for transportation of foodgrains.
