BJP demands CBI probe in children's Muktsar murder case

Ludhiana, Jan 11 (UNI) The BJP today demanded a CBI probe into the brutal murder of four children of the Bavaria community whose decomposed bodies were recovered from the rice sheller of former Congress MP Jagmeet Singh Brar in Muktsar on Tuesday night.

''To unearth the truth a CBI inquiry is necessary'', BJP national spokesperson Prakash Javadekar told mediapersons here today after addressing an election rally in the city.

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), an electoral of the BJP for the February 13 assembly polls has already made a similar demand.

The Congress chief Sonia Gandhi should visit Muktsar, just as she had visited Nithari, he said while pointing out that the rice mill from where the bodies of the children were found belonged to a senior party leader.
