BBA student commits suicide by hanging self in Rajouri Garden
New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) A 22-year-old BBA student allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her Rajouri Garden residence due to depression.
Shikha, a student of 'JIMS Rohini' and a resident of 'SFS Apartments in Rajouri Garden, allegedly hanged herself on Tuesday last at about 1630 hrs, according to sources.
No one was at the home when the incident took place except for a 12-year-old maid who was in another room.
While her father Mohanlal, who runs a furniture business, was out of station, her mother had gone to the market when she locked the room and hanged herself.
In her third year of BBA, Shikha was reportedly depressed for some time over her becoming handicapped due to an accident four months back. She had broken her leg in the accident.
No suicide note has been found, said the police.
