Three law college students arrested

Tuticorin, Jan 10 (UNI) Police arrested three law college students on the charge of allegedly attempting to misbehave with a teenaged girl at Veppangkadu village near here yesterday.

According to police Titus (25), Mahesh (19) and Muthu (25), students of the Government Law College, Tirunelveli went to the village and attempted to outrage the modesty of the girl.

On hearing her cry, the villagers rushed there, caught hold of the three and handed them over to the police.

They were remanded in judicial custody, police added.
