SGF merges with GBA

Panaji, Jan 10 (UNI) The Save Goa Front(SGF) today merged with Goa Bachao Abhiyan(Save Goa campaign) to strengthen the people's movement to save the state.

SGF convenor Adv Aires Rodrigues told reporters, ''There was no point in having two organisations with identical goals and objectives. The SGF has unanimously decided to disband itself and join forces with the Goa Bachao Abhiyan(GBA) to take on the might of an uncaring and unconcerned government.'' Mr Rodrigues expressed happiness about awakening of citizens of Goa under the banner of GBA and said it was time for consolidation of forces to make it every Goan's movement.
