Seven year imprisonment for car snatcher

Faridabad, Jan 10 (UNI) A local court here today sentenced a person for seven year imprisonment for armed robbery.

Addtional District Judge K K Bali pronounced the verdict against Manoj and Amit, who forcibly took away a Zen car on gun point from a manager of Escorts Farm Tractors Ltd on December 5, 2005.

An FIR was lodged with the Central Police Station against the accused and they were arrested, police said.

The other accused, Amit, died of illness during the trials.
