Religare appoints Regional Head for South India

New Delhi, Jan 10 (UNI) Religare, one of the India's leading financial services provider today said it has appointed Mr K Ramkumar as the Regional Head for South India.

The company as a part of capturing resurgent India Inc's growth story is strengthening its presence in the evolving investment banking advisory business.

Mr Ramkumar, who joins the company effective from January 3, 2007, shall originate and identify deal-making opportunities and lead the growing advisory business in South India and will report to Religare Country Head (Investment Banking) Kamlesh Gandhi.

Welcoming Mr Ramkumar into the Religare's investment banking team, Mr Gandhi said, ''Ramkumar's experience in deal making, spanning more than a decade especially in south India, will have a definite edge in an evolving and competitive capital market business.'' Mr Ramkumar has a rich industry experience working with big names such as, Veda Corporate Advisors, Ind Global Financial Trust, Anderson Consulting and Ernst and Young.
