''Rathasapthami'' at Tirumala Jan 25

Tirupati, Jan 10 (UNI) ''Rathasapthami'' will be celebrated at the Sri Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala on January 25.

On the day, the processional deities Malayappaswamy and his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi will be taken out on seven vahanams (vehicles) in a dawn to dusk celebrations.

The TTD said had cancelled arjitha sevas (paid sevas) and utsavams due to 'Rathasapthami.' However, payment for Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Arjitha Champus and Padies (offering would be accepted as usual.
