Raj Travels ties up with US-based Gray Line Worldwide

New Delhi, Jan 10 (UNI) Leading outbound tour operator Raj Travels and Tours Ltd today announced partnership with United States-based Gray Line Worldwide, one of the world's leading sightseeing companies.

As part of this tie-up, Raj Travels will become the master franchisee for Gray Line's India operations. Along with Raj National Express, its point-to-point bus service, Raj Travels will operate a series of Gray Line tours in several cities across India.

''At present, there is a serious lack of well-organised, good quality tours within India. With a premium product such as Gray Line Tours, we will enable us to offer an authentic local experience without compromising on quality,''said Raj Travels and Tours Ltd Chairman and Managing Director Lalit Sheth.

''The Gray Line brand stands for comfort and high quality in more than 200 countries across six continents where we operate tours and excursions. Travellers can now experience the wonders of India in comfort and security,'' said Gray Line Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer Brad Weber.

Besides this, Gray Line will also be launching fixed departure holiday packages-- Gray Line India Holidays. These tours will be marketed through the Gray Line Worldwide network and operated by Raj Travels within India.

These tours can also be booked through the internet, providing hoteliers, travel agents, tour operators and corporates with greater convenience and flexibility.

With tours and excursions in more than 150 destinations spanning six continents, Gray Line's range of services includes daily sightseeing tours, multi-lingual tours, overnight package tours, airport transfers, charters, customised tours, meeting and convention services.
