R-Day participation compulsory in MP

Bhopal, Jan 10 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government has issued an order making it compulsory for all government officials to attend the Republic Day function.

''Participation in the function is a government duty'', the order said.

Family members of Kargil martyrs and freedom fighters will be honourably invited for the Republic Day function and proper sitting arrangements provided, the government said in a directive to all district authorities.
