Munda to remain LO; Decision on J'khand BJP president soon

Ranchi, Jan 10 (UNI) Ending all speculations over the leader of Opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly, BJP central leadership today made it clear that former Chief Minister Arjun Munda will continue to hold the post.

The BJP said that final deision on party's state president would be taken soon.

In the past two days, BJP's Jharkhand in-charge Sumitra Mahajan had one-on-one with about 225 party leaders to gauge the party's feelings on the much-talked-about state leadership issue and she would submit her report to national president Rajnath Singh by tomorrow, BJP's National General secretary Om Praskash Mathur said here today.

The party's high command had not taken any decision on the name of new state president though names of about three contenders were doing the round, Mr Mathur said at a press conference here.

He also welcomed the Supreme Court's verdict on the expulsion of 11 MPs on bribey case.
