Mulayam govt convenes special assembly session from Jan 15

Lucknow, Jan 9 (UNI) Mulayam Singh Yadav Government tonight decided to hold special session of the Uttar Pradesh assembly from January 15.

The decision was taken in an emergency cabinet meeting tonight following the resignation of Rastriya Lok Dal (RLD) minister earlier in the day. The assmebly session which concluded in December last has been reconvened following the recent political development.

Sources said during the special session the government is likely to take a confidence vote after the RLD decided to snap ties with the ruling coalition.
