Mizoram police officer detained in death case

Aizawl, Jan 10 (UNI) City police have detained Sakawrdai's Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Saidingliana Sailo for mysterious death of 19-year-old Lalremruata here on the new year's eve.

Police said the youth was stabbed to death allegedly by one P C Lalchhanchhuaha, who heppened to be a close friend of the arrested police officer and one among five accused of the murder.

''We are interogating the cop following the complain of the deceased father'', police added.
