MDMK Parliamentary leadership to be decided:Vaiko

Chennai, Jan 10 (UNI) An appropriate decision would be taken on the question of removing MDMK's former Presidium Chairman L Ganesan from the post of the Parliamentary party leader also after consulting the senior leaders, MDMK General scretary Mr Vaiko said today.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Vaiko clarified that though both Mr Ganesan and Gingee Ramachandran were removed from the party posts, both still continued as primary members of the MDMK.

He said when a resolution was moved at the General Council to remove them from ther party post permanently, all the members stood up and said in one voice that the two rebels should be removed from their primary membership also.

He said but he had convinced them by saying that both of them were with us for the last 13 years and considering their work to build the party, he let them to continue as primary members.

Moreover, they were not removed from the primary membership because they may return to the party after expressing regret very soon, Mr Vaiko pointed out.
