Life term for kidnappers

Hajipur, Jan 10 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to two people in connection with a kidnapping case.

District and sessions judge P K Jha sentenced both the accused to rigorous life imprisonment after they were found guilty in the case.

According to the FIR, Dheeraj Kumar Singh and Nandan Kumar Singh had kidnapped 13-year-old Prashant Kumar alias Kanhaiya from Vanthu village under Bhagwanpur police station in Vaishali district on July 16, 2006. The victim was, however, released by abductors following the police action.
