Kazakh president nominates Karim Masimov for PM
ASTANA, Jan 10 (Reuters) Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev today nominated Deputy Prime Minister Karim Masimov to be the Central Asian oil producer's new prime minister.
Nazarbayev presented the candidacy of Masimov, a technocrat who studied at a US business school, to parliament. Lawmakers are to vote on the nomination later today.
