iGate Q3 net up 81.76pc at Rs 17.05 crore

New Delhi, Jan 10: Software firm iGate Global Solutions Ltd today posted a growth of 81.76 per cent in net profit at Rs 17.05 crore for the their quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 9.38 crore for same quarter the previous year.

The company's total income increased to Rs 195.79 crore during Q3FY07 from Rs 146.58 crore during Q3FY06, a rise of 33.57 per cent.

iGate Global Solutions CEO Phaneesh Murthy said, ''We are moving ahead to achieve the goal of 15 per cent EBIDTA margins by the quarter ending March 2007.'' The group posted a consolidated net profit (after minority interest) of Rs 15.95 crore for the third quarter of FY07 as compared to Rs 1.3 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The consolidated total income of the group increased from Rs 164.36 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 210.59 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
