iGate Global Q3 net nearly doubles to Rs 17.05 cr

Mumbai, Jan 10 (UNI) iGate Global Solutions Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 17.05 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, as compared to Rs 9.38 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.

The company said its total income has increased from Rs 146.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, to Rs 195.79 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

Phaneesh Murthy, Company's CEO said ''We closed the third quarter with robust revenue growth and we continue to make steady progress in line with our objectives. We are moving ahead to achieve the goal of 15 per cent EBIDTA margins by the Quarter ending March 2007.'' UNI
