HP launches a dozen personall printing solutions
Bangalore, Jan 10: Market leaders in printing and imaging solutions space, Hewlett Packard (HP) today launched a series of 12 new machines to consolidate their position in the consumer printing market.
With over 75 per cent market share in inkjet printers and 87 per cent in all-in-one segment in second quarter of 2006, HP aimed to gain a lion's share of All-in-one market which expected to cross 734,000 from 440,382 units last year.
HP counter Category Manager for personal printing products Vibhor Bansal told newsmen here that the launch of new machines further reinforced HP's commitment to deliver the best printing experience for consumers.
He said the new high performance All-in-one range of machines had several breakthrough features including direct printing from digital cameras and wireless printing. Five new scalable printing technology enabled photosmart printers have also been released. They offer ground breaking print speeds and superior quality, he added.
He said HP would target key vertical segments such as jewelers, exporters, design agencies, photographers and self employed professionals through focused market development programmes by offering customised solutions.
