Everest Kanto bags Rs 40 crore from Defence Authorities

Mumbai, Jan 10 (UNI) Everest Kanto Cylinder Ltd, a leading player in high pressure gas cylinders, today told the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that the company has bagged fresh orders worth Rs 40 crore from defence authorities for supply of specialised gas cylinders.

The company's order book for the manufacture of CNG and industrial gas cylinders is booked for the next 12 months.

Meanwhile, the company formed a separate wholly owned subsidiary company in China named EKC Industries (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. to manufacture high pressure gas cylinders and other allied products of the company.

The company has also set up another wholly owned subsidiary named EKC International FZE in UAE for doubling the existing capacity in that country. Production at the new unit is expected to commence in the third quarter.
