Dhoni fined for using tinted glass in SUV

Ranchi, Jan 10 (UNI) Indian wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni had to face the police's googly for using tinted glasses in his SUV in his hometown here.

Dhoni was fined Rs 90 by the Jharkhand Police yesterday after they found him driving a Mitsubishi Pajero with tinted glasses near Elart Ekka Chowk here.

The police action but soon turned into embarassment after their favorite star showed them a permisssion letter issued by the Ranchi deputy commissioner to use tinted glasses for security reasons.

Dhoni was soon exempted from the fine, sources said.

The Jharkhand police had launched a drive against the use of tinted glasses in personal vehicles.
