CM strongly condemns Asom carnage
Agartala, Jan 10 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has condemned the ongoing violence of ULFA in Asom, that took a toll of 70 Hindi-speaking persons mainly Biharis.
'' All the concerned persons and department have been alerted to prevent occurrance of such violence,'' Mr Sarkar informed reporters last night.
'' I have already talked to my Asom counterpart Tarun Gogoi in this regard,'' he added.
Mr Sarkar describing the recent massacre in Asom, that mainly killed the Bihari labourers, as inhuman and barbaric.
He also urged the Assam government and all the sections of the state to take initiatives so that the people of affected communities could stay in Asom.
