CLE appoints office-bearers

Chennai, Jan 10 (UNI) Mr Mukhtarul Amin and Mr Habib Hussain were today elected as Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively of the Council for Leather Exports (CLE).

They were elected unanimously at the Annual General Meeting of CLE held here in which the Committee of Administration (COA) was reconstituted, a release from CLE said.

Mr Amin and Mr Hussain would hold office for two years.

The meeting also reconstituted the Regional committees and appointed the following as Regional Chairmen.

Mr T Rafeeq Ahmed (South), Mr Anil Kumar Sondhi (North), Mr Anup Kumar Chatterjee (East), Mr Maqsood Alam (Central) and Mr Prakash H Mahtani (West), it said.
