City experiences a cold and windy day

Kolkata, Jan 10 (UNI) The city today experienced a chilly morning with the minimum temperature hovering around 11.9 degrees.

A nip in the air was felt due to the north westerly winds in the morning that continued throughout the day.

The MET department has forecast a minimum temperature of about 12 degree Celsius for the next couple of days with a clear sky.

Today's maximum temperature was 25.1 degree Celsius.

However, the humidity remained at 92 per cent in the morning which dipped to 39 per cent as the day progressed.

No rainfall was recorded, sources said.
