CIDCO garden assistant, gardner guilty of accepting bribe
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jan 10 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths here today arrested a Garden Assistant and a gardener of CIDCO after an inquiry found them guilty of accepting bribe from contractors to sanction payments to them.
An official inquiry into the complaints filed by two contractors found that CIDCO Garden Assistant Dattatraye Padhye and Gardener Prabhakar Bhambre were guilty of accpeing Rs 2,000 as bribe from the contractors on March 24 last year, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP-ACB) Pravin Kulkarni said.
Following the findings of the official inquiry, an offence against the duo was registered by the CIDCO police station today and the arrests made, Kulkarni added.
