Biannual International Convention on Colorants to be held
Mumbai, Jan 10 (UNI) The Dyestuff Manufacturers Association of India (DMAI) and the Dyestuff Technology, Department of Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), supported by the Gujarat Dyestuff Manufacturers Association of India(GDMAI) will organize the second biannual International Convention on Colorants(COC)-2007 from February 7th to 9th here at hotel Leela Kempenski.
According to a release issued here today, the three-day COC-2007 will conceptually sketch current and anticipated trends and devlopments in the color industry and allied field in years to come.
The presentations will cover environment friendly colornats and processes, colornats in home, clothing, personal care, polymers and life sciences, colornats for energy conversion and conversation, colornats in the world of electronics and opto-electronics and nanotechnology in colornats.
One of the most crucial areas of development for the colorant industry, which includes dyestuffs, pigments, optical brighteners and their intermediates, is technology. Whether in terms of synthesis or application, colorants are becoming more sophiscated than ever.
