BASF India Q3FY07 net dips 25 per cent
New Delhi, Jan 10: BASF India Ltd, the flagship company of BASF Group, today posted a 25 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 8.8 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, as against Rs 11.74 crore in the corresponding period previous year.
Total income increased marginally by 0.5 per cent to Rs 183.41 crore for the quarter from Rs 181.59 crore for the same period a year ago.
The company is headquartered in Mumbai, with manufacturing facilities in Thane, Mangalore and Dadra.
It manufactures and markets expandable polystyrene, tanning agents, leather chemicals and auxiliaries including specialised metal complexdyes, leather dyes, textile chemicals, dispersions and speciality chemicals, acrylic polymers in primary forms and crop protection chemicals.
