Bhopal, Jan 10 (UNI) The 10-day Azad Sandesh Yatra, which started from Allahabad on January three to spread the message of freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad on the occasion of his birth centenary, reached the state capital today.

''A good response was received for the yatra and nearly 17,000 people turned up during a meeting in Chhatarpur. Several thousand people came to learn about the life and personality of Azad,'' Yatra convenor and Madhya Pradesh BJP General Secretary Anil Madhav Dave said.

The 3,000-km yatra will pass through more than 20 districts and 60 towns and cities in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh before culminating at Azad's native Bhabhra village in Jhabua district.
