About six lakh looted in Jharkhand
Daltonganj, Jan 10 (UNI) Armed miscreants today looted about Rs 6 lakh from Vishrampur-Pandu road being taken to a branch of Vananchal Gramin bank located in Pandu area in Jharkhand's Palamu district.
Suprintendent of Police Udyan Singh said branch manager of Pandu branch Kamlesh Choubey was on his way to the bank after withdrawing the money from a Garwah branch by a car.
Mr Singh said motorcycle borne miscreants overtook the car at the Banwari more on Vishrampur-Pandu road, about four kilometers from Vishrampur and decamped with the bag carying cash, after showing arms.
