UP Police intelligence official suspended in Nithari case

Lucknow, Jan 9 (UNI) A Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) official posted at Gautam Buddha Nagar has been suspended for laxity in the Nithari serial killings case.

A Home Department official said here SSP (Gautam Buddha Nagar) R P S Rathore placed LIU inspector Shivraj Singh Yadav under suspension for failing to inform his superiors about the incidents of missing children in Nithari, Noida.

He was also found guilty of failing to inform about the unrest in the locals after skeletons were dug out from the backside of Moninder Singh Pander's Noida residence.

The UP government has already dismissed six cops and suspended three others on various charges of dereliction in the macabre case.
