HP: Tata Indicom targets 1.50 lakh subscriber base
Shimla, Jan 9: Tata Indicom's subscriber base in Himachal Pradesh was likely to reach 1.50 lakh by the end of this financial year, Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sandeep Srivastava today said.
''As part of our expansion plans, we are focusing on rural and semi-urban segments to address the basic telephony requirements of customers across the state,'' he said in a statement.
Mr Srivastava said Tata Indicom with a subscriber base of 65,000 across 65 towns and 10 districts of the state, at present, was likely to increase its reach to over 100 towns and 1.50 lakh people by the end of this fiscal.
Tata Teleservices has opened its first retail outlet at Sujanpur Tira in Hamirpur district of the state today, he said.
The COO said the exclusive Tata Indicom outlet at Sujanpur Tira was opened with an aim at provide one-stop solution to the customers' demand for best after sales service and accessories.
He said the company's entire product range of post paid, pre- paid cards, smart PCO and corporate plans were available for the customers at the outlet.
With a short span of launching its services nationally, Tata Indicom's subscriber base has crossed 14 million across 20 circles, he added.
