Sugar prices ease due to lack of fresh demand
Mumbai, Jan 9 (UNI) Sugar prices eased due to lack of fresh demand, traders at the Bombay Sugar Merchants' Association said today.
Prices of sugar in small and medium grades declined by Rs 15 and Rs 17 per quintal respectively on poor demand.
Ex-mill sugar in small grade came down by Rs 14 per quintal on thin buying support while medium grade went up by Rs 35 per quintal on reduced stock supply.
