SAD announces candidates for Amloh and Jalalabad

Chandigarh, Jan 9 (UNI) The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has announced its candidates for two more assembly constituencies-Amloh in Fategarh Sahib district and Jalalabad in Ferozpur district for the February 13 polls.

Ms Satwinder Kaur Dhaliwal, a former Lok Sabha member would contest from Amloh and Mr Sher Singh Ghubaia, a former MLA has been nominated for the Jalalabad constituency, SAD secretary Daljit Singh Cheema said here.

With these two seats, the SAD has till now announced its candidates for 90 seats. The BJP, an electoral ally of the SAD, is yet to announce the names of its nominees for the 23 seats of a total of 117 that it will be contesting.
