Review meeting on World Bank project starts

Aizawl, Jan 9: A joint review meeting of World Bank assisted third technical education project started here today.

About eight less developed states and union territories who have been implementing the projects for polytechnic education, attended the four-day long meeting.

''The meeting will discuss the progress of the project as well as the expenditure status, sanctioned to improve technical education in the states and UTs,'' Mizoram Education Minister R Lalthangliana said.

However, he said the state had been ranked as best in implementing the project for three consecutive years.
