Release kidnapped children: AMCO

Imphal, Jan 9 (UNI) All Manipur Christian Organisation (AMCO) has appealed the kidnappers to release the two ten-year-old boys, who was kidnapped from Senapati district on December 14 last year.

"Children are the gift of God to mankind. Without them there will be no future," sources from AMCO said.

They also expressed their deep concern over the kidnap of the two boys, Moheni Martin and Hriinii Hubert, from their home at Rikhumei village by unknown persons .

The AMCO demanded the state government should take prompt steps to ensure the safe return of the boys. It charged that so far the government had remained a mere spectator to the incident.

Earlier sit-in protests and rallies, to demand safe release of the two children, were made here.
