Rajnath constitutes panel to visit Nandigram SEZ
New Delhi, Jan 9: BJP President Rajnath Singh has constituted a five member delegation under the leadership of senior party leader Sushma Swaraj to visit the troubled Nandigram village in West Bengal tomorrow and submit report to the party on the insensitive acquisition of land for Special Economic Zones.
The team, comprising BJP Chief Whip in Rajya Sabha S S Ahluwalia, Mr Shahnawaz Hussain, Mr Dharmendra Pradhan and Mr M A Kharabela Swain will talk to the victims of terror let loose by the ruling party'' for their opposition to the acquistion of farm land for Indonesia-based Salim group's SEZ project. The victims have alleged that the police remained silent spectators to the CPI-M ''terror,'' in which ten people were killed besides three who are still missing.
