Railway employees observe protest day

New Delhi, Jan 9 (UNI) Employees of the Delhi division of the Norhtern Railways today held protest demonstration in the capital demanding expeditious action on their 21-point charter of demands.

The workers observed meetings at 20 places including massive protest demonstrations at Tughlakabad and Nizamuddin stations, on the call of the All India Railways federation to observe protest day demanding action on their charters of demands including grant of interim relief.

The protestors appealed to the government to initiate meaningful disuccsion with trade unions to settle the issues failing which the employees would be foreced to resort to agitations countrywide.
