Delhi: Primary schools closed from Jan 10 to 12

New Delhi, Jan 9: Delhi government today closed its primary schools from tomorrow till January 12 in view of the bitter cold wave in the national capital.

Government-run and aided, Municipal Corporation of Delhi and New Delhi Municipal Council primary schools have been closed from Wednesday till Friday, official sources said.

Private schools in the city were being issued an 'advisory' to follow suit.

For the second day in succession, mercury was recorded four degrees below normal at 3.2 degree C, just a slightly more than 2.6 degree C recorded yesterday, the second lowest in the last five years.
