Police nabs 3 drug smugglers, recovers Norphine
Moga, Jan 9 (UNI) The Punjab police nabbed three drug smugglers with 47,000 tablets, 725 Norphine injections and 736 Buprenorphine capsules while they were on their way to supply these to customers in the rural areas of Bhagapurana.
Police later arrested all the three under the NDPS Act and impounded the vehicle in which they were traveling, Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Gautam Cheema said here.
They were nabbed near Demro village under the Smalsar police station last night and were identified as Parveen Kumar, Manpreet Singh and Summittar Singh, all residents of Moga.
