Plaint against Nana Patekar quashed

Mumbai, Jan 9 (UNI) A lower court here today quashed a case of road rage lodged against Bollywood actor Nana Patekar by Utkarsh Morarka, nephew of noted industrialist Kamal Morarka, on mutual consent between both the parties.

Both Patekar and Morarka were present in the 45th Metropolitan Magistrate Court where they prayed to the magistrate that they were willing to settle the matter. The magistrate heard both sides and quashed the matter.

On May 31 last year, both Morarka and Patekar had filed complaints with Mumbai and Pune police respectively against one another for threatening over the issue of overtaking their vehicles at Vashi Naka in Navi Mumbai.

Morarka in his complaint had stated that Mr Patekar had whipped out a revolver and threatened him. A similar complaint was filed by Mr Patekar in Pune.
