Payeng, fourth DIGP from the state

Itanagar, Jan 09 (UNI) Union Home Affairs ministry has promoted Navin Payeng, a 1981 Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) batch police officer to the rank of deputy inspector general of police (DIGP).

Mr Payeng is the fourth state cadre officer to rise to such higher rank.

Meanwhile, All Mishing Social Welfare Society Capital Complex (AMSWSCC), felicitated Payeng yesterday for setting an example for others to emulate.
