One held for raping minor girl

Sirsa, Jan 9 (UNI) A young man was arrested by the district police allegedly for eloping with a minor girl and raping her.

District Police Chief Vikas Arora said here that a young man named Sonu, resident of local Ekta Colony, had been arrested for raping a minor girl. He was arrested on a complaint lodged by the girl's father.

The police arrested the accused and found the girl. The girl's medical examination confirmed rape.
