NCDEX records volume worth Rs 2,557 cr

Mumbai, Jan 9 (UNI) At least 2,836 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in the trading worth Rs 2,557 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 98,160 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in guarseed, chana, pepper, tur desi, urad desi and refined soya oils.

Yesterday, about 285 members participated in trading and put through 99,450 trades. The volume of trading till 2330 hrs was around Rs 2,885 crore.

Active trades were high in chana, guarseed, pepper, refined soya oil, tur desi and silver, a NCDEX release said.
