Militants wash off hands from incident of attacking Editor

Imphal, Jan 9 (UNI) Most militant outfits of Manipur have ruled out their involvement in the recent attack on the Editor of 'Kangla Pao' a local vernacular daily.

The United National Liberation Front (UNLF) said in a statement that it was not involved in the incident that took place on December 20. It condemned the life bid on the Editor.

The All Manipur Working Journalists Union AMWJU and Editors Forum Manipur EFM has demanded clarifications from the perpetrators.
