Manipur in the grip of cold wave

Imphal, Jan 9 (UNI) Manipur is in the grip of a cold wave as the mercury plunged to 4.4 degree Celsius here today.

The maximum temperature recorded was 22.5 degree, MET sources said.

Humidity in the morning was 90 per cent but dropped to 58 per cent in the noon.

No rainfall had been was recorded, sources added.
