Investement by FIIs under PIS: Zee News ltd

Mumbai, Jan 9 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has notified that no further purchases of equity shares of Zee News Ltd, should be made on behalf of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) through stock exchanges in India without obtaining the prior permission on the RBI.

RBI has stated that Zee News Ltd has reached the overall limit of 26 per cent of its paid up equity capital, the RBI release said.
