Hearing on Nagaland-Asom border dispute deferred
Kohima, Jan 9 (UNI) The hearing on the border dispute between Asom and Nagaland, which was scheduled yesterday at Dimapur has been deferred for today as the legal papers of the Asom side could not reach the venue.
The three-member commission and the members of Local Commission, have already reached Dimapur. This is the first sitting of the Commission since information in October last year.
Though Asom wanted a court settlement of the dispute, Nagaland had been seeking an out-of-court settlement.
