SINGAPORE, Jan 9 (Reuters) Gold built on gains scored in New York as the dollar slipped against the euro on Tuesday and dealers expected physical demand to help the metal stay above key support at $600 an ounce.
-- Spot gold rose to $611.40/612.40 an ounce from $608.70/609.70 late in New York on Monday, when it rose around $2 an ounce.
-- Benchmark gold futures on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange, currently December 2007, fell 39 yen per gram to 2,358 yen.
-- The euro rose to $1.3046 -- off a six-week low of $1.2973 hit on Monday.
-- Silver inched up to $12.29/12.36 an ounce from $12.26/12.33 an ounce.
-- Platinum rose to $1,116/1,121 an ounce from $1,115/1,120.
-- Palladium rose to $330/335 an ounce from $326/329.
